Comments Hello to Genea and Bill, The tears are flowing from my eyes as I read the article in the August 10, 2009 edition of Woman's World. I don't always buy this magazine, but I just happen to be in the grocery store and on a whim I purchased the magazine. I just want to say a very big "thank you" to the two of you for taking such wonderful care of animals who truly are in need. I too am an animal lover and just do not understand how someone could abuse any kind of animal or abandon them. I live in a small town in Ontario Canada and I just wanted to send you a little note to say how wonderful I think you are for opening your hearts to our four legged friends. I know as I child, I was always bringing home strays - and many times, we did find the owners. Today, I have 2 golden retrievers, and just inherited a Shitzu who belonged to my uncle who just passed away. The fortunate thing for this little guy is that he saw me every day and played in the backyard with the 2 goldens every day, so the transition was good. Continued success on everything you are doing for these unwanted animals, and for finding homes for those you can, for simply loving them all, but for keeping and providing a home for those you can't find homes for. All animals should be loved until it's time for them to cross over to The Rainbow Bridge where they will wait for their loved ones, free of pain and having room to run and play and food and water when they need it.
