We Believe in Miracles.

We rescue horses, donkeys, mules, dogs and puppies that have been neglected, abandoned and or abused throughout the heartland. We also accept owner surrenders and rescues from kill shelters. We at Hooves & Paws believe in miracles — miracles that exist because of the compassion and generosity of people like you.

We depend on the generosity of our community and volunteers to help care for our rescues. We do not receive government funding. We are an entirely volunteer based organization and no money is used for administrative salaries. Hooves & Paws of the Heartland is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation and your donations may be tax deductible.
